Cuba is so interesting, full of contradictions and beauty. As an American from the Midwest, I didn’t know much about Cuban culture. I was surprised by its modernity and felt as if the Cubans are really quite similar to Americans. I liked meeting the people that lived in the country, sharing their thoughts on their lives and their take on world events.

I was really happy to experience the culture the people of Cuba. Loved all the historical sites and to see the progress of the refurbishing of the old town. The four days were fantastic. Roberto was a informed guide, we will be back soon.

Cuba was more than I expected. The scenery, culture, and architecture are amazing. I wish I had more time to explore. I was very happy with the availability of our tour guide and bus driver. Wish I had more time for shopping and a little more downtime.

We had the 5-star Cuban experience – the trip was amazing! The people were friendly and welcoming. Their culture is so rich. I urge anyone to go NOW before things start to change. Everything ran smoothly. Our guide Sandor was amazing. He fit right in with our group. The tour was so well planned out. Loved it!

I was impressed with the Culture, people and scenery. Havana’s architecture of the older buildings was terrific and a photographers paradise. I felt comfortable and never threatened by local people, in fact the locals didn’t seem to even notice the tourists wondering their streets.
Well organized, everything happened on time, when a lunch was not ready on time Rosie, our guide, went to the manager and the kitchen for immediate food. I think the tour was well paced, our time was well organized. Glad the restaurant Cha Cha Chá was substituted for lunch in Havana-excellent food. Liked the selection of restaurants many with local music entertainment for lunch and dinner. Meals offered a great variety of foods.

Having been to many islands in the Caribbean, there was much about Cuba that was familiar. The homes in the rural areas, the friendliness of many people, the cacaphony in the streets, the music, were all much like other Latin countries. What was different were the fabulous cars, since Cuba has been in that time warp, but that time warp has also meant that the once no doubt lovely buildings in Havana Vieja are now wrecks, crumbling monuments to the embargo and the inability to maintain them as they should have been. It was sad to see the destruction, and to think that it may take many more years – and who knows where the will and drive – to put the buildings back to the way they should be.
There was much variety to what we saw, and thankfully, some flexibility in staying a bit longer in some places than was originally planned. The organic farm, the Hemingway house, the Escambray Mountains were all stand outs for me as favorites.

Wonderful country with so much to see both culture and natural beauty. Was impressed by the diversity of things to do and see.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. The country’s natural beauty is awe-inspiring as well as its colonial cities, plazas and architecture. I cannot express how pleased I was by the warm welcome I received from the Cuban people I encountered. And the culture? Is it a cliché to say that Cuban’s have music in their blood? There was beautiful music everywhere even in the rhythm of the Spanish conversations that were taking place all around me (which I did not understand).
I cannot find fault with this tour. Our tour-guide, Osmin Rivero, and bus driver, Bruno! I have no doubt that Osmin’s erudite knowledge of Cuban history and culture and the world at large made for a broader, eye-opening experience for this American.

Humble, kind and fascinating people. Liked our guide Sandor! He was amazing. Loved Hemingway House, the Russian restaurant for lunch, and the lecture with the Cuban professor. Dinner on last night was in beautiful room.

My daughter and I enjoyed the trip. We thought most of the local people we met were lovely. The country, while poor, is beautiful. We had a good group; it was relatively small. Our guide was tops, as was our bus driver. We enjoyed learning about the country.

I loved the pride and respect that the Cuban people have for their country and its history.Everyone seemed so friendly and happy. Really liked our guide, Arlene, and being shown the beautiful country and cities of Havanna, Trinidad, Santa Clara and Cienfuegos.

I was surprise. I was very happy to be in Cuba with this group. I felt very comfortable. I really liked the walk in the mountain and the roast pig barbecue. Biggest problem: getting small coins and bills to tip with.

It was a great trip overall. The places we visited were very interesting and the people were friendly. Our itinerary allowed us to see a good cross section of the city and the small towns and rural areas, as well as the beaches. Arlene, our tour guide, and Roberto, our driver, were awesome. We were able to visit so many museums and plazas in La Habana, Cienfuegos, Trinidad and Santa Clara, all of which were very interesting. I did feel as if I had stepped back time. The paladars where we had our meals were all excellent.
